A community where everyone is safe at home. Where family members welcome, support, and respect one another. A community where domestic and sexual violence do not exist. A community where people don’t have to choose between safety and housing. This is our vision. It starts with SAFE shelter.
SAFE NEEDS TO INCREASE OUR SHELTER CAPACITY
In response to a growing need for safe emergency shelter for those fleeing or experiencing homelessness due to domestic and sexual violence, SAFE will be expanding and renovating our existing emergency shelter and program space. HOME SAFE is our organization's campaign to generate $3,211,472 to renovate and expand our current emergency shelter. We have the majority of the funds already raised for our project, but we need to keep going in order to meet our goal! We are still running our campaign and are breaking ground on the project on September 18, 2023.

Groundbreaking Celebration: September 15, 2023
Construction begins!
Concrete foundation work has been completed. Electricity, gas and water have been updated/re-routed and we are ready for exterior walls to start going up!
The floor joist supports are nearing completion, making ready for the laying of subfloor material and then the walls will begin taking shape…
