Everyone deserves healthy relationships.

Crisis Services

Crisis Hotline

SAFE’s hotline is answered twenty-four hours a day, every day. When you’re ready, we’re here to listen. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic or sexual violence our staff and volunteer advocates can:

  • Offer assistance with planning for safety

  • Answer any questions you may have

  • Provide information about community resources that may help.

Legal Advocacy

The legal system can seem overwhelming for those experiencing domestic and sexual violence.  SAFE helps survivors by providing information about the civil and legal justice systems, assisting with filing petitions requesting orders of protection and providing legal referrals.

Walk-in Advocacy Services

SAFE Advocates are available to help if you are experiencing domestic or sexual violence. Advocates in our office are available from 9:00-4:00 each day. No appointment is needed, there’s someone here to answer your questions, offer information about domestic and sexual violence and help with planning for future safety. To access SAFE’s walk-in advocacy services, stop by our office at 150 Morning Star Way.

Outreach Support Groups

SAFE offers adult and child support groups for those who have experienced domestic and sexual violence. Utilizing a variety of activities, survivors explore the impact of domestic and sexual violence, learn strategies for minimizing trauma responses and connect with other survivors. Support groups for adults and children happen at the same time and free child care is available for children younger than age six.

Emergency Shelter

The SAFE Emergency Shelter program is for families and individuals who are in need of safe emergency housing due to domestic or sexual violence. Our Emergency Shelter continues to operate during SAFE’s building expansion project.
